DORKBOT : SYDNEY

This month’s Dorkbot is happy to have kinetic artist Sandra Landolt present her work, a special secret guest with a spicy demonstration also this month we are keen to have a “free-for-all”. Come along and have something to drink and some nibblies and schmooze with your fellow dorks from 19:30 for an 20:00 speakoff.

RUNNING ORDER

1. SANDRA LANDOLT: “The kinetic sculptures I have created in the last four years are a satire of absurd moments, deviations and social behaviours in a life style disengaged from nature. My imprecise, sometimes rickety constructions allow for some sense of sympathy in a world full of technology. I am interested in constructing parallels between my sculptural practice and my interests in self-regulating systems existing in the human body and in society”.
